Chateau Orquevaux
At the top of the year I was given a rare opportunity to create art at a chateau in a small french town. The residency here is new, but it all ready has a growing reputation in neighboring villages. We were free to do whatever we wanted with one stipulation. We were encouraged to leave at least one piece to be added to the chateau's collection which will soon be available for public consumption somewhere in Europe. I decided to dedicate the majority of my time there to this self portrait.
